FAMOUS WOMEN AND BEAUTY

FEATURING: Audrey Hepburn Posters

May 04, 1929 – January 20, 1993

Audrey Hepburn,
actress, style icon, ambassador for UNICEF

Audrey Hepburn look was revolutionary for 1950’s. "Her sexiness enters through your heart," said the fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi.

Simplicity was Audrey’s trademark. At the time when all fashionable women wore double rows of pearls and little earrings, she wore almost no jewelry at all. Then she could surprise everyone by wearing earrings that almost reached her shoulders, at a premiere.

One of her most dazzling and simple looks she would always be remembered for, was in "Funny Face": wearing the hooded parka, black turtleneck and tight black pants. Her charm was not in her simply done hair and skinny figure, it was in her inner style, that seemed an embodiment of a true sophistication.
