Diana, Princess of Wales, was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales,and the mother of Princes William and Henry.


Princess Diana photo gallery shows Diana wearing some her most favorite jewels. Her jewelry collection was one of the most impressive in the world (some estimates put its value at over $27 million). Princess Di loved wearing jewelry, and she wore it with a modern sense of style.

Some of the most priceless Princess Diana jewels were given to her as gifts by various members of the royal family, including Queen Mary tiara, emerald and diamond choker and a large sapphire, which was set in a brooch, and later worn by Diana on a pearl choker. According to David Thomas, the Crown Jeweler, “sapphires and pearls were particular favorites” of Diana. She would often add her unique style, by wearing her jewels in an unconventional way. She converted the bracelet into a choker and wore it on a ribbon around her neck. She would use emerald choker as a headband. She would also wear fake jewelry, feeling as comfortable wearing fake diamonds and pearls, as when wearing the priceless royal family jewels.
